Purpose and Scope

The Diemaker is responsible for the efficient completion of trim tool building and finishing, making and maintaining of die sets, punches, dies, and a variety of additional machining operation necessary to support production.

The Moldmaker is responsible for the efficient completion of mold building and finishing, making and maintaining of steel rule trim tooling, pattern making, and a variety of additional machining operation necessary to support production.

 

Educational Requirements

A two year diploma / degree in tool and die or machine tool technics is highly preferred.

Experience Requirements

An ideal candidate would have a background as a machinist, moldmaker or diemaker.
